The Library will close at 4:00 Tuesday December 10 due to hazardous road conditions.
The Friends of the Springdale Public Library support library programs, events and activities. The Friends Bookstore is located just off the Library lobby and is open during all library hours. An annual book drive and book sale is held every fall.
Support the Library by joining the Friends! Friends receive discounts on purchases at the Friends Bookstore and during book sales.
Print and complete the membership form and mail it or drop it by on your next visit to the Library. Regular dues start at $5.00 for individuals.
You will need the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader software to view and print the Friends membership form. To download, go to www.adobe.com and click Get Acrobat Reader.
Your annual membership demonstrates community support for the Library and your dues contribute to the Friends support of library programs and services. Donations are tax-deductible.
Friends volunteers help maintain the Bookstore and assist with the annual book drive and book sale in the fall. Volunteers are welcome to serve on a regular basis or for special projects. Use the Friends membership form to indicate your interest in volunteering. To find out more about volunteering or contact Sharon Christian at email@example.com or call 750-8180.
The Friends Bookstore is located just inside the front doors of the library. The bookstore is open during normal library hours, and donations are accepted at the Information or Check-Out desks.
Volunteers maintain the bookstore. Friends may purchase materials for 1/2 of regular prices.
Most items are priced at $1.00 or less. Adult hardbacks are $2.00. Occasional specials may be unannounced and materials are added throughout the week. Stop in during your next visit to the library!
The Friends Bookstore welcomes donated materials in good condition. We accept hardback and paperback books, audio-books, videos, CDs, and DVDs. Donations may be brought to the Check Out desk anytime during library hours. Call in advance if you have questions or need assistance. No magazines or textbooks please.
For more information about donating materials to the Library, click here.
Materials that do not sell in the Bookstore may be sent to Better World Books to support literacy programs.
