Springdale Public Library cards are available FREE OF CHARGE to those who live, work, own property, or attend school in Washington County. Those who do not meet the qualifications for a free card may obtain a Library card for a $25.00 annual fee.
In order to register for a card, the Library requires a valid, official photo ID and proof of your current address. Valid IDs include a driver's license, a passport, an immigration card, a college or university ID, or a merchant-issued ID. Children and teenagers under the age of 18 need a parent/guardian present to provide photo ID, verification of address, and sign the application.

Patrons are limited to a total of 30 items checked out and 30 items on hold. Within this 30 item limit, patrons may have up to 5 items each of DVDs, videos, music CDs and software.These limits also apply to placing holds on DVDs, videos, music CDs and software.
DVDs, videos, music CDs, and software are limited to a one week checkout period with NO renewals. All other materials may be checked out for two weeks with two renewals allowed unless items have been requested by other patrons. You may renew materials in person, by phone at 479-750-8180, or online.
You may return library materials to any Washington County Library System member library. A convenient book drop is available 24 hours a day at the front entrance of the Springdale Public Library. Please return your library materials on time. If you are late returning materials, overdue fines will be charged to your account.
You may reserve an item that is checked out by another patron or available at another Washington County library. You may reserve these materials in person, by phone at 479-750-8180, or online.
Patrons are billed for the Library replacement cost of a lost or damaged item.
