Sept. 15 - Oct. 15
Education & Celebration! In September 1968, Congress authorized President Lyndon B. Johnson to proclaim National Hispanic Heritage Week. The observance was expanded in 1988 to a month-long celebration (Sept. 15 Oct. 15). Then, on Sunday, October 12, 2:00 - 3:00 pm, join the Library in welcoming award-winning dancers, Mark and Aurea King, as they perform Latin American dances and even give the audience a chance to cha-cha-cha! The program is free and refreshments will be served.
