Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at the Springdale Public Library is one way you can make a difference.
The Library needs the help of dedicated volunteers to serve a large population of Library users. Volunteer opportunities include working in the bookstore, helping to shelve and process Library materials, and assisting with special projects. If your skills and interests match our needs, we would love to have you as part of our team!
Who can volunteer?
Anyone sixteen or older may volunteer. YAAC (Young Adult Advisory Council) members may volunteer at age thirteen.
When are volunteers needed?
Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
How do you become a volunteer?
It's a simple process. E-mail the Volunteer Application form to us or ask for an application at the Information Desk. During an interview, the Volunteer Coordinator will try to match your interest, skills, and work schedule requirements with current job openings.
For more information about volunteering at the Library, e-mail the Volunteer Coordinator at sharonchristian@springdalelibrary.org or call 750-8180.
