Revealing the Secret Code
Saturday, Oct. 4, 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Children's Auditorium

In observance of Meet the Blind Month, representatives from the National Federation of the Blind of Northwest Arkansas will present Revealing the Secret Code. This hands-on program will teach sighted individuals how to read and write the Braille alphabet code and increase sensitivity to and the understanding of blind persons. Each child will receive a Braille alphabet card and the opportunity to have it personalized with his or her name in Braille. The program is free and registration is not required!


Fall Festival
Saturday, Sept. 20

Celebrate the coming of fall at the Library! Help us share our favorite things about fall, make some fall crafts, meet some fall friends, and eat a special treat! We will also have songs and games to celebrate this beautiful season.

Jones Center Fall Family Festival
Sunday, Oct. 26, 1:30 - 4:30 pm

Visit the Library’s booth at the Jones Center during their Fall Family Festival. There will be live performances, jugglers, face painting, games, give aways, lots of food, and more!

Fractured Fairy Tales
Saturday, Nov. 1, 11:00 am - Noon

Let’s make fun of fairy tales with this crazy program about mixed-up stories. Enjoy funny versions of traditional stories, like Dusty Locks and the Three Bears by Susan Lowell and The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza by Philemon Sturges. We’ll play some fairy tale games and make our own fairy tale pizza too!

Cozy Cocoa Corner
Celebrate Soup!
Saturday, Nov. 15, 11:00 am - Noon

Our Cozy Story Time is back, just in time to celebrate another cozy fall food – soup! It’s National Split Pea Soup Week, and we have some silly soup stories and some silly soup songs, and even a funny soup craft for you to take home. Also, we will collect soup donations for our local food pantry! Please join us in celebrating this great fall food!


Pirate Day at the Library

Ahoy mateys! It’s time again for the 2nd Annual Pirate Day at the Library! Join us for some silly pirate stories, a treasure hunt game, some pirate songs, and a trip to our treasure chest. Wear your pirate costume to make it extra fun!
