June 5: Down the Sewer
Jane Maginot from the University of Arkansas Department of Agriculture will talk about surface pollutants in our water systems and how to keep our water pure and safe.
June 12: What's Under the Surface?
Terry Mitchell, president of the Ozarks Spelunking Society, will take us on a virtual tour of local wild caves and explain the equipment that a spelunker must have to safely navigate these caves.
June 19: Surviving a Catastrophe
An area Boy Scout troop will present this program and share a survival plan for surviving a catastrophe.
June 26: Goth and Emo Makeup
Dwight Dockins, a local makeup esthetician will demonstrate how to do goth and emo makeup, and if time allows, participants will get to practice the techniques by applying makeup on each other.
July 3: "Pharoah's Curse"
Teens will put on an interactive play - everyone will have a part in this murder mystery!
July 10: Beneath the Skin
Learn healthy practices with Dr. Mink, Director of Health Education at the University of Arkansas, in this program about how to be the best you can be by exercising and eating right.
July 17: Movie Screening

July 24: Making Balloon Animals
Learn to make balloon animals. Rex Schacht from Balloons by Zowie will facilitate. Teens, this is a really important program to get ready for the End of Summer Celebration.
July 25: End of Summer Celebration
All volunteers will need to be at the Library between 8:00 and 8:30 to finish setting up for the celebration and receive their assignments.
The 2013 Spring Inklings Teen Writing group will meet on Tuesdays at 5:00, June 4 through July 23.
If you have a yen to write, this is the group for you. Led by library staff member and published author Brad Carter, Inklings writes, reads, and publishes their works in the quarterly Inklings journal that is available for checkout in the YA area!
