Oct. 29 – Mindhunter by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker

“Spirits of the World” by Dustin Pari

Paranormal researcher and international TV star, Dustin Pari will lead us through “Spirits of the World”. This presentation will include some of his favorite stories from investigations across the globe, including Irish castles, French chateaus, and Australian prisons. Dustin has made numerous appearances in media, including the television programs Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, and Destination Truth.

Creativebug Connection: Holiday Cards

Get crafty with Creativebug! Each month, a project for you to make at your own pace is selected from Creativebug, a free online resource for Springdale Public Library cardholders that includes over 1,000 classes for all skill levels. Supplies will be provided by the Library. Check our Facebook page on the first Saturday of the month for a recorded introduction and demonstration from our librarians, as well as a link to the project. The video will be available online all month. Registration opens two weeks prior to the first Saturday of each month and is limited to 10. Schedule a curbside supply pickup at registration. Join us for an at-your-own-pace craft program – Creativebug Connection. Each month, we will select a project from Creativebug (which is a free online resource for all valid Springdale Public Library cardholders) and provide the supplies to do the craft at your own pace. On the first Saturday of each month, we provide a demo of the craft on the Library’s Facebook page and a link to the craft on Creativebug. Native Plants and Low Impact Development Techniques for Homeowners

Jane Maginot, Water Quality Agent for Washington County, Lee Port of Ozark Green Roofs, and Eric Fuselier of the Arkansas Native Plant Society will present on various methods and techniques to slow down, spread out and soak in storm-water on-site. Topics to be discussed will include green roofs, rain gardens, and phytoremediation.
