Visit the Information Desk and fill out a registration form. You must show valid photo identification and proof of your current address. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign your card, accepting responsibility and use of Library resources.
To get a temporary library card from home, visit our online registration page! Temporary online cards give you access to all of the Library's online services. These cards are good for thirty days and can be upgraded during your next visit to the Library.
Library cards are free to anyone that lives, works, owns property or attends Washington County schools.
Non-Residents may obtain a Springdale Public Library card by paying a $25.00 annual fee.
You can request an item that is checked out to someone else or that is available at another Washington Country Library in person at any of the service desks, by telephone at 750-8180, or online.
All items may be renewed up to 2 times if no one else has reserved them. There are several different ways that you can renew them:

You can access the databases by clicking on the Web Resources link under Research & Reference, and then click "Browse Databases". From there you will be able to view all of the databases and then click the one that you would like to use. Please note that to use some databases from home, you will need to click the "access from home with library card number" link or you will need to input a special login username and password that will be listed in the database description.
Print and complete the membership form and mail it to the library or drop it by on your next visit to the library. Regular dues start at $5.00 for individuals.
You will need the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader software to view and print the Friends membership form. To download, go to www.adobe.com and click Get Acrobat Reader.
Your annual membership demonstrates community support for the library and your dues contribute to the Friends support of library programs and services. Memberships are annual. Donations are tax-deductible.
The Library offers free meeting room use for community groups and non-profit organizations. Your group may book the meeting rooms when they are not in use for Library functions. Pick up a meeting room request form at the Information Desk, download the PDF form, or submit an online meeting room request.
